I know how careless this might sound, but a couple of weeks ago, I had this fleeting thought that I attempted to push out of my head as soon as I could. But you know how when a stray thought winds up in your head- the more you try to get rid of it, the longer it tends to stick around. Last week, the girlfriend and I traded our bustling city life for a laid-back, tropical island getaway. The two of us, along with three of my closest high school friends, took this trip as an opportunity to stuff ourselves full of blood pressure increasing, heart attacking inducing, finger-licking good food. I sleep on a queen size bed, which is really nice because, seeing as how I sleep alone and hardly take up any space, I get plenty of room leftover for all my stuff like my clothes, my laptop, my bags and pretty much everything else. I even have a pillow solely for my phones to sleep beside me.
